We are seeking a customer focused, detail-oriented Direct to Consumer (DTC) Specialist to join our Direct to Consumer (DTC) team. Reporting to the Direct to Consumer Manager, you will be responsible for creating and building relationships with both internal and external customers through phone and email customer service correspondence, supporting full cycle order process, and selling wine and wine related products to Direct Delivery and Wine Club customers. This position requires an ability to work evenings, weekdays and occasional weekends.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Post-secondary diploma.
  • Proven success in a customer service role.
  • Direct to Consumer experience an asset, preferably in the wine industry.
  • A passion for achieving targets and delighting customers at the same time.
  • Self-motivated; able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders).
  • Ability to exercise judgement and function independently.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office. Experience using Oracle.
  • Proven ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work evenings, weekdays and occasional weekends. 

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Following up with members and consumer requests and orders in a timely manner and effectively communicate to all relevant departments.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external consumers and wine club members.
  • Seamless execution of Wine Club and Direct Delivery shipments in conjunction with other departments.
  • Accurately inputting data into Oracle to fulfill orders from phone, email, event and website requests.
  • Driving sales by suggesting additional and/or alternative products to meet member and consumer needs.
  • Possessing a deep understanding of our products, properties and brand positioning to ensure we can enhance the DTC experience with value-added options.
  • Maintaining relevant sales and marketing email databases, wine club incentive reports, member event reservations and various reports on a monthly basis.
  • Investigating and resolving undeliverable and return shipments.
  • Carrying out special projects and all other additional duties as assigned.
