We are seeking a creative, action-oriented individual who will be responsible for helping drive traffic growth and market share for Niagara's top Winery destinations Peller Estates Winery, Thirty Bench Winemakers, Trius Winery and Wayne Gretzky Estates! This teammate will have a pro-active, action-oriented approach to managing a dynamic and hands on Marketing portfolio. This role is focused on driving destination marketing programs for all Eastern Estates, curate & manage all Wine Club marketing initiatives, and foster existing as well as create new partnerships.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Bachelor of Business degree or equivalent (concentration in Marketing an asset).
  • Minimum 3 years of destination marketing experience (tourism/hospitality experience preferred).
  • Graphic design experience a definite asset.
  • High attention to detail and discipline in executing deliverables while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy.
  • Proven, demonstrated data analysis ability.
  • Must be a hands-on self-starter who excels at multi-tasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate and work in a cross-functional team environment to achieve common objectives.
  • Exceptional communication (written & verbal), problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn internal Marketing/Sales database.
  • Some evening and weekend work as related to events, tastings and business functions.
  • Ontario travel required.¬†

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Curating and executing integrated marketing programs for 4 unique Estate destinations as well as 4 Wine Club programs. This includes media, POS collateral, digital, etc.
  • Recommending business strategies and initiatives for building unique experience offerings and/or programs.
  • Managing overall marketing budget and programs to ensure investment is effectively and efficiently allocated.
  • Conducting analysis and drawing insight through campaign/program debriefs and identifying opportunities and gaps for future.
  • Seeking and nurturing relevant Tourism partnerships with tourism offices and tourism operators in Niagara and the GTA
  • Ongoing consumer surveying and analysis of data to shape marketing campaigns and future strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities to support targeted marking initiatives that will benefit locations.
  • Social media marketing communication and development of strategies in support of digital communication vehicles.
  • Following safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions to their Manager.
