We are seeking an energetic, technical, and detail oriented individual who will be responsible for developing business intelligent solutions using the IBM Cognos Suite and Microsoft 365. The incumbent will be required to complete data analysis and dashboard development while working closely with the Sales and Marketing managers.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

Developing Canadian Alcohol Beverage Reports and Dashboards

  • Develops and maintains Andrew Peller's external market corporate dashboards using IBM's Cognos Suite or Microsoft 365.
  • Works with business groups to collect and document report / dashboard requirements, identify ambiguities, illustrate the issue(s), and collaborate on a resolution.

Analyzing National Trends

  • Researches and gathers data to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address user needs.
  • Uses the national dashboards to follow macro trends and provide insights into relevant market segments and competitive companies.
  • Provides high level monthly updates to key stakeholders on any impact to key business measurements; including share changes, market and mega brand performance.

Corporate Trainer for Cognos Suite & Sales Dashboard

  • Acts as a 'super user' for the organization providing national training on how to develop and use sales reporting and dashboards.
  • Teaches Sales and Marketing managers how to use new reports.
  • Leverages previous BI development experience to promote and share best practices and insights on how to interpret data.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Economics, Business, Sciences, Math or Accounting.
  • 3+ years of design, development, and deployment experience with Cognos Suite & Microsoft Office or similar tools (SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, and etc.)
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to perform Business Requirements and visioning when needed.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Process improvement skills.
  • Financial Acumen analytically oriented.
