We are seeking a dynamic Guest Relations Administration Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure seamless communication and reservations of all on-site winery experiences (dining, daily tours, special events) and upselling of multiple winery experiences whenever possible to secure visitor next steps. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, personable, have exceptional communication skills, and is confident using technology. This position requires an ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays and holidays.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Answering Eastern EWG phone lines and greeting guests as they enter the office; redirecting and assisting accordingly.
  • Maintaining daily and general office administrative duties.
  • Answering all Eastern Estate winery e-mail enquiries.
  • Performing data entry for Wine Country ballots at Eastern Estate wineries; Facilitating the distribution of weekly and yearly consumer surveys through database.
  • Selling and distributing tickets for all Eastern winery events, Visa Infinite as well as Shaw Festival dining packages, hotel voucher program and Wineries of Niagara-On-The-Lake touring passports.
  • Developing and communicating in-depth product knowledge for Eastern EWG wineries including all on-site winery tourism products.
  • Attending team and channel meetings as requested and ensuring all relevant information is communicated and acted upon in a efficiently manner.
  • Following safe work procedures and practices and reporting all unsafe working conditions/hazards to manager.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Proven success in a customer facing role
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check prior to offer as per the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirement 12.7
  • Self-motivated; able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard Office Administration machinery/equipment
  • Confident working with technology; preferably including a good working knowledge of internal reservation systems
  • Familiarity of content of all company websites including EWG property specific websites
  • High level of general wine/winery knowledge
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, weekdays and holidays ( 2 4 shifts per week)
  • Post-secondary education with an emphasis on tourism or customer service is preferred
