We are seeking a sales driven customer-focused leader to grow our national direct-to-consumer and wine club business. Reporting to the VQA Brand Manager, the successful candidate will be the voice of the consumer with the ability to translate key consumer insight into success, while deepening customer loyalty with the national VQA brand, including Trius, Sandhill, Thirty Bench, Peller, Red Rooster, and Wayne Gretzky. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter passionate about digital marketing, the wine industry, and in particular the customer service experience.

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Creation and execution of marketing materials including monthly customer communications, and direct mail and e-mail initiatives
  • Working closely with Marketing and Estate Wine Group to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
  • Creating a direct-to-consumer experience that will utilize all of Andrew Peller Limited's (APL) assets (chefs, winemakers, etc.)
  • Ensuring all communication reflects brand strategy and priorities
  • Ensuring successful delivery of the end-to-end customer experience, with emphasis on customer engagement and participation within all of APL's wine clubs
  • Monthly forecast of product and the achievement of financial plans and budgets
  • Working with the sales team to deliver the annual wine club subscription targets
  • Accounting control and ensuring all reports are submitted on a timely basis
  • Interpreting monthly P&L statements and responding to discoveries
  • Continuously seeking and implementing ways to improve the customer experience, product offerings, and financial targets 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business required
  • 2-3 years' experience in brand management, marketing or business – specifically within customer engagement and interaction
  • Experience in developing business plans
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that will facilitate interactions at all levels of the organization (including external partners, key stakeholders, and business partners) to agree on vision
