We are seeking a Quality Services Coordinator to join our Quality Ontario team! Our future teammate will be responsible for responsible for directing and coordinating the compliance on all incoming ingredients, non-food chemicals primary packaging and import wine materials per Food Safety and Quality (HACCP/FSEP Program) nationally. Our teammate will also manage the documentation requirements for Service Providers of Andrew Peller Limited, reviews documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance to requirements to ensure that quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements are met. 

We are looking for a teammate with:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Packaging/Quality/HACCP/food technology preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Advanced MS Office Excel / Intermediate MS Office Word / Access / Visio and Project management.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, showing initiative, good judgement and superior decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills
  • Proven strong data analysis skills.
  • Must be proficient in report writing and operational procedures.
  • Must be able to spend time in a manufacturing environment.
  • Substantial attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
  • Interacts with internal stakeholders professionally and ethically
  • Patient and calm in dealing with multiple requests and work inputs. 

This teammate will be accountable for....

  • Development and Review of Service Provider Documentation and assessing any food safety risks. This includes the preparation of the Quality "Schedules" pertinent to Service Provider Contracts.
  • Managing the Service Provider check list and identifying any gaps.
  • If necessary, reviews incoming regulatory documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance to requirements to ensure that quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Responsible to ensure all stakeholders have been trained on the incoming materials procedures, forms and protocols.
  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the maintenance of ABS (Andrew Peller Business System) which supports supply and food safety quality (HACCP). This includes ensuring all documentation within the vendor management system are up to date per the Andrew Peller Limited business protocols.
  • Responsible for internal auditing including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Assist and works closely with the innovation and vendor compliance Team with reference to auditing, trending of data, and reports with reference to packaging or finished goods.
